Latitude 49 Commission

Latitude 49 commissioned a piece by composer Eugene Astapov.  Eugene’s piece “Detheracta” was premiered by Latitude 49 on April 28, 2013, and fresh inc and Fifth House Ensemble pianist Jani Parson’s final dissertation recital.  This commission was funded by a research grant through the Rackham Graduate School at the University of Michigan.

Music and Storytelling Workshop at a West Philadelphia Library

In February 2013, bassoonist Ray Jacinto of the Eclipse Wind Trio led a workshop for kids at the Lucien E.
