Wooden Cities, A New Music Collective


Chris Culp‘s New Music Collective, Wooden Cities, begins it’s season on Friday, December 14, 2012 with a concert of new works by Wooden Cities’ composers and from their ensemble-in-residence program with the University at Buffalo’s Composition Seminar.

Chris and Wooden Cities performs next on December 21, 2012.  They are performing “Quartet for the End of Time” by Olivier Messiaen to raise apocalypse awareness.  For this concert, Chris is venturing into the world of planning, organizing, and running an event for the first time!

For the spring 2013 semester, Chris will be taking over as instructor of clarinet at the University of Buffalo, SUNY for his professor Jean Kopperud while she is on sabbatical.
