Composition alum Sergio Delgado won the National Prize of Culture in Music with mention in composition through the Ministry of Culture Costa Rica. His winning composition, Nocturnos a Debravo, paid homage to the great Costa Rican poet Jorge Debravo on the 60th anniversary of his poetry book “Open Miracle” (1959).
