Daniel Harrison

Daniel Harrison is a frequently performed and commissioned composer whos compositions have been praised for their “brilliant sonic architecture” and their “immediate physicality”. His music has been performed by numerous outstanding performers and ensembles such as members of the Fifth House ensemble, Iktus percussion ensemble, percussionist Jude Traxler and the University of South Florida new-music consortium. He is currently working on a commission for the CCM chorale for a piece for Choir and electronics that will be including in their upcoming commercial release on Ablaze records. His Saxophone quartet “Chrysanthemum Road” was an ASCAP finalist in 2015. He holds degrees from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music and the University of South Florida.
