Kelly Kasle is a senior bassoon performance major at the Eastman School of Music. A student of John Hunt, she performs with the Eastman Wind Ensemble and the Eastman Philharmonia. Since entering Eastman, one of her goals has been to expand the bassoon repertoire. To that end, Kelly has performed an annual bassoon solo never before heard at the School. A Fellow of the Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival and a member of Eastman’s entrepreneurial Arts Leadership Program, Kelly is working towards creating her own revolutionary chamber ensemble to bring classical music back to the forefront of today’s arts culture. When not practicing or dreaming up revolutionary ensembles, she loves to ride horses, and serves as the Treasurer for the Sigma Theta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota.
