Lily Floeter

Flute, 2012


Lily Floeter is an active performer who maintains a studio in the Chicago area. She received a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from DePaul University where she studied with prolific flutist Mary Stolper.  She sings and plays flute and piano in classical chamber groups, jazz choirs, and rock bands. Her orchestral career has included DePaul University Ensembles, Lake Shore, Chicago Metropolitan, and Classical Symphony Orchestras.

Lily has been invited to perform at Ravinia and in summer festivals in the United States, Germany, and Canada. She has won competitions at the Barrington Area Arts Council and Interlochen Fine Arts Academy and performed in masterclasses with William Bennett and James Galway. When she isn’t busy with her performance career, Lily enjoys spending time watching bad movies on Netflix and making pasta.
