Tyler Pacheco

Viola, 2020

Tyler Pacheco is a 23 year old Violist from Orlando, FL, currently studying with Wei-Ting Quo at The DePaul University School of Music, pursuing a Master’s degree in Viola Performance. Mr.Pacheco has attended numerous prestigious summer programs including the Aspen Music Festival, Tanglewood YAP, Josef Gingold Chamber music festival, Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, Brevard Music Center, and the Miami Music Festival in which he held many leadership positions. Mr. Pacheco is a dedicated Chamber Musician, a winner of the inaugural DePaul Chamber Music Competition, second place prize of the Cincinnati Conservatory Chamber Competition, and former Co-Principal of the Winter Park Chamber Music Academy. Tyler also plays with a number of orchestras around the Chicagoland area. A passionate teacher, he teaches at the non profit music organization Music4Kids, offering free private lessons for underserved children in the greater Chicago area. Mr.Pacheco aspires to be a founding member of a string quartet. In his spare time he enjoys being active, spending time with friends, and is an avid gamer.
